Service Shop Leader

Optimum RV is a premier RV dealership dedicated to offering a wide selection of RVs, an excellent service department, and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a dedicated Service Manager to join our team to oversee our service department and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

The Service Shop Leader/Foreman will be responsible for managing daily shop operations and leading a team of RV service technicians. Key duties include:

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of service technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Diagnosing complex technical issues and providing effective solutions.
• Ensuring that all service work is performed in compliance with quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Training and mentoring service technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Managing inventory and ordering parts to ensure timely repairs.
• Communicating effectively with service advisors and customers to provide updates on repair status and recommendations.
• Monitoring shop productivity and implementing strategies to improve efficiency.
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Service Shop Leader or Foreman in the RV or automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• RVTI or RVDA certifications Highly Preferred, Master Certification Preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
