Service Support Specialist – Hobart, IN
DISHER is partnering with a leading medium-sized technology company with its own solutions and products consisting of mobile transport robots for industrial material handling environments. As the Service Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintenance level training and equipment support after customer acceptance.

What you will get to do:
- Repair, and service electronic and mechanical robotic systems both onsite and offsite.
- Assemble and electrically commission driverless transport systems and picking systems.
- Provide temporary shift support after commissioning at customer sites.
- Analyze and correct errors and malfunctions in automated systems.
- Communicate repair needs effectively to project managers and after-sales teams.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on robotic systems.
- Train end-users on the operation and maintenance of robotic systems.
What will make you successful:
- Experience with electronics, automated systems, and AGVs is a plus.
- Comfortable in a training environment, using Power Point to give small group instruction.
- Ability to understand and use equipment wiring diagrams for effective troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using Windows and Windows applications (Office 365).
- Basic network troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software environments.
- Certification in robotics or a related field is an advantage.
- Valid US driver’s license for travel outside the home state.
- Must pass a drug screening.
