Service Team Member - Tucker's Onion Burgers, Tulsa Hills

Tucker's is expanding to Tulsa, and we're hiring! POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of duties including greeting and serving guests, receiving payments, shake preparation, stocking product, refreshing displays, and floating and maintaining cleanliness of all areas of the front of house. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcome and greet guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and know you're there to take care of them.


• Open the front door for guests entering and leaving the restaurant when possible.


• Answer the phone professionally and according to restaurant standards. 


• Maintain impeccable knowledge of food, beverage, retail products, processes and services.


• Inform guests of any specials and seasonal items.


• Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.


• Answer questions about our food, beverages, and other store functions and services.


• “Own” the bag order system.  


• Correctly and quickly ring guest orders into the POS system.


• Responsible for properly charging the guest and collecting payment for orders.


• Responsible for processing cash, credit, and debit transactions.


• Promote and process Tucker’s Loyalty Card program consistently and with enthusiasm.


• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.


• Between seatings remove and properly dispose of bags, napkins, cups, and utensils.


• Check and clean the floor as required and reset the tabletop. 


• Perform running duties and side work at the beginning and end of each shift as assigned and required.


• Stock beverage and condiment areas accurately and efficiently.


• Maintain overall front of house cleanliness including restrooms, service areas, and equipment.


• Rotate product following safety and freshness guidelines.


• Be available to fill in as needed, per the restaurant manager or your immediate supervisor, to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

This position is well suited for a hands-on individual who is service-oriented and hospitality-driven.

• No previous restaurant experience required.


• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic equipment.


• Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, evenings, and special events.


• Frequent use of hands and arms, and constitution to stand on feet for long periods of time.


• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently bend and twist from the waist.


• Verbale and written English fluency.
