Service Tech

• Fluid Services: Draining old oil and refilling with new, checking/topping off transmission, brake, power steering, and coolant fluids.


• Filter & Wiper Replacement: Changing oil, air, cabin, and fuel filters, plus replacing wiper blades.


• Tire Services: Rotating tires, checking pressure, inspecting tread, and sometimes patching.


• Vehicle Inspections: Performing multi-point inspections for leaks, worn parts (brakes, belts, hoses), and other maintenance needs.


• Customer Interaction: Advising customers on recommended services and documenting all work.


• 
  Shop Maintenance: Keeping work areas clean and organized, and managing inventory. 
  

• Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to use hand tools and perform basic automotive tasks.


• Safety Focus: Strict adherence to safety procedures and proper equipment use.


• Customer Service: Strong communication skills to interact with customers and service advisors.


• Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and manage time effectively.


• 
  Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting and working in various conditions. 
  

           Tasks range from basic oil changes to more advanced preventative maintenance as skills grow.
