Description

Jon-Don is actively seeking an experienced HVAC Technician/Mechanic to cross-reference your skills in refrigeration and join our onsite repair center. Your current skills, paired with additional training, will allow you to diagnose and repair a variety of industrial equipment within Jon-Don!

Monday - Friday 8 AM-5 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform outlined repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
• Diagnose case of malfunction
• Perform necessary repairs (which have been approved)
• Communicate part needs
• Examine equipment
• Determine if additional safety or service work is needed
• Document performed work
• Maintain a clean and safe work space
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Must have a complete set of tools 
• Must be proficient in refrigeration repair (universal 608 or 609)

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTITUDES:

• Willingness to learn
• Transfer any HVAC system skills to new/ used equipment repairs
• Ability to work efficiently
• Multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Mechanically inclined
• Joy for repairing a variety of equipment
• Positive attitude and self motivated
• Team player with the desire to improve

Education and Experience:

• At least 1 year of HVAC a plus
• Universal 608 or 609 a plus but not required
• Must have valid driver's license

Working conditions:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
• High level of emotional intelligence
• Able to remain calm during stressful situations
