SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Description

Best One Tire & Service is a leading provider of products and services to trucking companies and related industries, servicing Nashville, TN and surrounding markets. We are looking to add a Mechanical Service Technician to our Truck Tire Team.

Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:

• Perform day-to-day repairs and maintenance on company equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance on Class A trucks, trailers, and forklifts
• Perform minor to major mechanical repairs as needed
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines (required)
• Inspect and repair trailer components, including lift gates and suspensions
• Conduct vehicle alignments and maintain proper suspension systems
• Perform basic welding for equipment repair and maintenance
• Maintain and service forklifts to ensure operational safety and efficiency

Requirements

• Valid, insurable driver’s license
• Minimum driving age of 23 years old
• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred
• Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins and Detroit engines
• Proficient in AC and electrical systems
• Capable of handling major repairs
• Experience with both tractor and trailer PMs and repairs
• Must have own tools
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs
