Job Description - Service Technician



We are looking for multiple Service Technicians with Ford or Lincoln vehicle experience to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background, Ford certified preferred. ASE certification is desireable! The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.

Responsibilities



  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership



  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment



  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.



  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs



  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications



Qualifications



  • 1+ year of Service Technician experience preferred



  • Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred 



  • B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair



  • Sync experience a plus
