GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: 

• 
  

  Perform vehicle maintenance and repair work in accordance with company and manufacturer quality standards and procedures.

  
  

DUTIES/ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS:

• Inspect vehicles


• Diagnose problems


• Perform adjustments and calibrations


• Replenish fluids, disassemble and reassemble vehicle components 


• Repair and replace parts


• Identify additional work required


• Road test vehicles for diagnosis and repair verification


• Use independent judgment to make decisions requiring the application of procedures and practices to specific work situations


• Document work and hours per manufacturer and/or company policies.


• Additional tasks as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Prefer 2 years experience but will consider and discuss applicants with 2 years other line technician experience. 


• Valid driver license with a driving record acceptable to our insurance company.


• Must be able to pass a drug test


• Certifications as appropriate for individual position. (i.e. Technical Certificate, ASE certificate) 

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:

  Work is generally performed indoors but occasionally is performed outdoors. Indoors work is in a shop environment, and may have exposure to cool or hot conditions, elevated noise levels, fumes and dust. Outdoors work is exposed to ambient heat and cold, and to sun, rain and other weather conditions.
