Responsibilities




  • Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy




  • Test-drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools and special service equipment




  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more




  • Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding needed repairs, timelines, and recommendations




  • Provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs




  • Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications




  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures




Qualifications




  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional automotive Service Technician experience (Required)




  • ASE Certification (Preferred)




  • Ford Certification (Preferred)




  • Previous experience at a Ford dealership (Preferred)




  • B-Level qualifications including Diagnostics, Electrical, and Engine Repair




  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills




  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment




  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity




  • Strong customer service and communication skills




  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn




  • Ability to adapt to new technology, repair procedures, and specifications




  • Basic computer skills




  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
