Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment at client sites
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
Provide technical support and training to clients on the use and maintenance of equipment
Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
Document all service and maintenance activities accurately and timely
Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential service opportunities
Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on job sites
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve service offerings
Qualifications:
Construction equipment mechanical experience preferred
Prior foreman or supervisory experience
Strong proficiency in diesel, hydraulic, and small engine repair
Ability to read and use technical manuals (paper and digital)
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow within a leadership role
High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree or certification preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in using hand and power tools
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
