Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assist in the maintenance of refractory systems.


• Service specialized pneumatic refractory gunite equipment.


• Monitor refractory inventories.


• Actively follow and support established employee safety program.


• Schedule and plan refractory maintenance outages.


• Track refractory performance.


• Interact with customers to determine their immediate and long-term refractory requirements.


• Schedule refractory delivery.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills Needed:

College degree preferred. Effective verbal communication skills, a proven ability to “multi-task”, and the ability to work and interact with others at different internal and external organizational levels. Proficiency in Excel and Word is required. This position requires the ability to work flexible hours, overtime and at time be responsive 24/7.  Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
