Service Technician

Description:

The Service Technician at Toyota of North Miami is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. They will use their technical skills and knowledge to ensure vehicles are serviced efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repairs, maintenance, and inspections


• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues


• Performing regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections


• Conducting vehicle test drives to identify performance issues


• Using diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately identify and resolve vehicle problems


• Keeping records of services and repairs performed


• Communicating vehicle issues and recommended repairs to customers

Requirements:

• Prior experience as an automotive technician or similar role


• Excellent mechanical and technical knowledge


• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills


• Ability to work independently and in a team


• Attention to detail and accuracy


• Good communication and customer service skills


• Valid driver's license


• ASE certifications preferred
