Service Technician

Join the team at Pat Curtis Chevrolet as a SERVICE TECHNICIAN in Caro, MI. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to provide high-quality service and maintenance for our customers’ vehicles. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Chevrolet vehicles along with most makes and models while delivering exceptional customer service. ASE certifications and relevant experience are highly valued and will be considered important assets for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and inspections on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues.


• Conduct repairs, maintenance, and replacements of vehicle parts and systems following manufacturer specifications.


• Maintain accurate service records and communicate service recommendations to customers and management.


• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and dealership policies.


• Collaborate with team members to achieve department and company goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an automotive service technician, preferably with Chevrolet or GM vehicles.


• Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, vehicle systems, and repair techniques.


• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, repair guides, and wiring diagrams.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.


• Valid driver’s license and ASE certifications are highly preferred and considered a significant advantage.
