Service Technician

The Roofing Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems including Tile, TPO, Shingle, and Metal. This role supports service calls, leak investigations, warranty work, and general maintenance while ensuring a high level of safety, workmanship, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, maintenance, and inspections on Tile, TPO, Shingle, and Metal roofing systems. 
• Diagnoses leaks and determines root causes; implements appropriate repair solutions. 
• Completes service calls, warranty work, and emergency repairs in a timely manner. 
• Determines material needs and proper repair methods; executes repairs accordingly. 
• Documents work performed, including photos, notes, and recommendations. 
• Maintains and organizes tools and equipment
• Identifies and reports additional repair opportunities or potential issues. 
• Perform safety checks and ensures all work complies with company and regulatory standards. 
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers. 
• Instruct or assist others in safe working procedures when necessary. 
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Minimum of 2+ years of roofing experience required. 
• Experience with Tile, TPO, Shingle, and Metal roofing systems preferred. 
• Valid driver’s license preferred. 
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Work Details

• Work Hours: 7:00 am – 4:00/5:00 pm 
• Company vehicle may be provided 
• Personal Tools preferred, company tools may be provided 
• Pay Range: $20-$28 per hour, negotiable
