Service Technician

Description of the role

Beaverhead Motors is actively seeking a highly skilled A-Level Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level position — we are looking for an experienced, top-performing technician with strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently on complex repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostic and repair work on vehicles.


• Accurately complete work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and attention to detail.


• Test-drive vehicles to confirm diagnoses and verify repairs.


• Work on major systems: engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, steering, brakes, HVAC, etc.


• Collaborate closely with Service Advisors to communicate repair needs and timelines.


• Perform warranty work in compliance with manufacturer requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician (A-Level preferred)


• ASE Certification required


• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer skills


• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and take pride in your work


• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
