We're looking for a Service Technician to join our growing team. The right candidate brings a strong service technician background and GM/Chevrolet certification. Day-to-day, you'll work through repair orders, diagnose vehicle issues, and keep our customers' vehicles running at their best.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards


• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment


• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more


• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customers are kept informed of any additional service needs and receive accurate time estimates


• Execute repairs under warranty to GM/Chevrolet manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Service Technician experience preferred


• GM/Chevrolet Certification preferred


• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair


• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination


• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment


• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies


• Positive, friendly attitude with an eagerness to improve and grow


• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced shop environment


• Collaborative team player who works well with others


• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and manufacturer specifications


• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
