Job Summary

On a typical workday, you’ll make customer visits and utilize company-provided trucks and tools to service, calibrate, and repair commercial and industrial weighing equipment. This role involves working with a broad range of industrial customers, both indoors and outdoors, where attention to detail and customer interaction are key.

Job Responsibilities

As a Scale Technician, you will:

• Complete the scale technician onboarding program, including training and mentorship.
• Master the fundamentals of the scale industry and our professional standards.
• Learn to work with scale products and their mechanical/electrical components.
• Provide outstanding service to industrial customers, ensuring their weighing equipment operates smoothly and accurately.

Minimum Qualifications

• Highly motivated to learn a new trade.
• Positive work ethic and a customer-focused mindset.
• Team-oriented and willing to adapt to change.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of basic computer-related skills such as using the internet, mobile devices, and e-mail software.
• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred But Not Required: CDL Class B

If you have, or are pursuing, a CDL Class B, you'll really love this role because it includes driving company vehicles that require a CDL Class B. If you have one, you’ll definitely use it in this role! If you do not have one but are interested in obtaining your Class B endorsement, please let us know! We’ll work with you on developing this goal!
