Fast Growing packaging equipment integrator supporting customers across Southern California and beyond is in need of a Service Technician to support installations, service, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of packaging machinery. This is a critical, high -visibility role and will be the company’s second technician, working closely with the lead tech.
Qualifications:
3+ years of mechanical field experience
Background as a Service Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Line Operator, or Maintenance Manager
Hands -on experience maintaining, repairing, or owning uptime of equipment or production lines
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working independently in the field and in a growing company environment
Ideal Experience (Not Required):
Liquid filling equipment
Cappers
Labelers / packaging line components
Similar mechanical or automated manufacturing equipment
Key Responsibilities:
Perform on -site service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of packaging equipment
Support new equipment installations, startups, and customer checkups
Service and maintain existing customer machines, including equipment not originally sold by company
Diagnose mechanical issues and ensure optimal machine performance
Work directly with customers in a professional, solutions -oriented manner
Collaborate closely with the lead technician on field service and installations
Participate in OEM and factory training, including travel to Monterey, Mexico
Maintain accurate service documentation and customer communication
