Job Description - Service Tech/Plumber

DIRECT HIRE: Seeking an experienced Service Tech/Plumber for a fantastic opportunity in the Conshohocken, PA. area. You will work about 40 hours per week at construction sites and at residential and commercial clients’ locations. We expect you to be responsible, reliable and hardworking with excellent plumbing skills and a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Ultimately, the Plumber role is crucial as you will be a large part of a small company undergoing rapid growth. Qualified applicants need experience in residential service work.

Salary: $30hr - $35hr
Schedule: 40hrs per week (OT inclusive), M - F (weekends as needed)

Responsibilities:
The Service Technician/Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal. Performs a variety of services ranging from faucets repairs to water heater installations and plumbing systems replacements for residential and commercial customers

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning plumbing systems and fixtures
Install plumbing systems and fixtures
Identify required tools and equipment
Install, repair and maintain sinks, tubs and toilets
Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks
Learn company safety protocols
Document all job-site activities in company record books
Order new equipment for the work site
Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes
Plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls
Assemble and install valves and fittings
Install, repair and maintain underground storm sanitary and water piping systems
Co-ordinate with office to ensure no violations are being made for permits, startup work or work completed
Ability to drive a company service truck safely at all times and to maintain a clean driving record
Excellent time management skills
Ability to maintain a clean, organized job site
Ability to work a varying schedule depending on company's needs; work off-shift with minimal notice if required
Two years of residential plumbing experience preferred
Honesty and trustworthiness in dealing with customers
Demonstrate sound work ethic
