POSITION SUMMARY:

The Service to Sales Guide at Goodwin Motor Group will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our service and sales departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Protect Dealer Interests.
• Identify and engage service customers for potential sales.
• Appraise all warranty and customer pay vehicles and provide them with a complimentary CarFax and free appraisal. 
• Present vehicle features, benefits, and promotions; assist with financing and trade-ins.
• Work with the sales team for smooth transitions from service to sales.
• Develop strong customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.
• Stay updated on vehicle models, features, and promotions.
• Maintain accurate records and process sales documentation.
• Document in the CRM all customer communications. 
• Ensure a positive customer experience and address inquiries promptly.
• Maintains the dealership lot, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable. Assists with seasonal tasks such as snow removal to ensure customer safety and accessibility.  
• Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

? High School diploma or equivalent. Associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field is preferred.

? Previous experience in sales, customer service or a related field. Experience in the automotive industry is preferred. 

? Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

? Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities. 

? Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

? Good organizational and time management skills. 

? Ability to understand and explain vehicle features and benefits. 

? Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

? Hearing and vision correctable to within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, receiving ordinary information, and preparing or inspecting documents. 

? Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust.

? The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

? The job is performed both indoors and outdoors. 

? Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. 

? Extended periods of sitting while using a computer are intersected with movement about the facility.
