Service Writer

This role plays a crucial part in the daily service operations, serving as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and parts staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Service Manager with daily service operations and workflow management.
• Act as the first point of contact for service customers—both in person and over the phone.
• Create, edit, and follow up on service quotes and work orders.
• Communicate effectively with technicians, parts staff, and customers to ensure smooth job execution.
• Track service progress and update customers on status and timelines.
• Maintain service records, documentation, and scheduling.
• Support the coordination of warranty claims and service billing.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering clear, consistent, and friendly communication.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a service advisor, service writer, or customer service role, preferably in a dealership, repair shop, or equipment-related industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized under pressure.
• Comfort working with quotes, invoices, and service management software.
