Service Writer

We are seeking two enthusiastic, independent, and motivated Service Writers. The qualified candidates will work in our Reno location, supporting our Martinez branch. A clean DMV record and a valid Driver’s License are required.  These individuals must work independently and have excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Call & schedule customers for routine services as directed.
  


• Daily review of scheduling, proper work assignment, parts are in the box in the tech bin, and equipment needed is on hand.


• Manage assigned technicians to make sure jobs are being completed in a timely fashion.


• Work Order preparation and follow-up for service and rental invoices. 


• General administrative duties.
  


• Utilize the compliance calculator to help educate customers.


• Add new clients and equipment information as needed into the ASPEN software.


• Proposal/bid preparation and follow-up.
  


• Receive calls from clients requesting invoice information and assist with payment information. I.e., Credit card authorization forms.
  

Required skills: 

• Mechanical knowledge.


• Excellent verbal and written skills.


• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.


• Reliable and committed to teamwork.


• Excellent organizational skills


• Courteous and calm in challenging situations.
