Pioneer Fleet Services is dedicated to providing safe and reliable assets to its drivers while maximizing asset utilization. This role is the crucial link between Sales and Operations, which drives our ability to service our customers as scheduled. This position requires a high-level of vendor and driver interaction. This role works closely with the Fleet Manager and is responsible for the state of Colorado. The ideal candidate will possess a technical acumen in heavy duty trucking balanced with strong customer service skills. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Handle driver roads calls and determine if a technical solution can be resolved over the phone; escalate immediately to Shop Lead / Fleet Manager to provide immediate attention. Determine and communicate work order repair prioritization with shop leads and parts coordinator. Manage daily Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) write ups through vendors and internal Fleet Shops. Accurately record service issues, create purchase orders, and enter data into Fleet Management System. Communicate estimated completion time, regular updates and follow through on each driver vehicle. Communicate frequently with Technicians, Parts Coordinator, and Fleet Manager to ensure timely completion of work. Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines. Promptly return missed phone calls and emails. Execute Fleet initiatives and strategies as directed. Assist in handling paperwork, billing, and other administrative activities. QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLLS & ABILITES: The technical skills, formal education, and relevant work experience critical for successful individual performance of Essential Functions
Self-starter, high capacity for managing multiple work streams at the same time
Strong analytical and fact-based problem-solving skills
Proven track record in customer service with the ability to move quickly and bring a sense of urgency to the business
Comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint as tools to communicate, with experience leading presentations for senior leadership
Working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, EPA, and OSHA guidelines
Excellent communication skills; including written and verbal
Strong organizational skills
Experience with Fleet Maintenance software a plus
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
At least 7+ years of experience in the Fleet Maintenance
At least 3+ years in Customer Service
