Service Writer/Warranty Administrator

We are seeking an enthusiastic, independent, and motivated Service Writer. The qualified candidate will work in our Martinez branch. A clean DMV record and a valid Driver’s License are required.  This individual must work independently and have excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily review of scheduling, proper work assignment, parts are in the box in the tech bin, and equipment needed is on hand for assigned in-shop technicians.


• Supervise assigned technicians to make sure jobs are being completed in a timely fashion.
  


• General administrative duties.


• Customer contact over the phone and in-person. 


• Work order preparation and follow-up for in-shop and warranty customers. 


• Submit and follow up on warranty claims to manufacturers. 

Required skills

• Mechanical knowledge.


• Excellent verbal and written skills. 


• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.


• Reliable and committed to teamwork.


• Excellent organizational skills.


• Courteous and calm in challenging situations.
