Nesco Resource is working with a growing client looking for an Assistant Project Manager:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support engineering and project managers in developing solutions that support our customers' technology solutions and provide cost effective, constructable designs.
Support the management team through the execution of the site and project document controls for such items as, but not limited to, RFI's, Submittals, Purchase Orders, QA/QC, Work Plans, Turnover Packages, POD's, Schedules, Time Reporting, Engineering Deliverables, and internal Accounting System requirements
Overseeing the implementations of designs that support safe delivery of our projects and safe solutions for our customers when energized.
ssure that our subcontractors provide quality documentation for quality assurance and to fulfill our contractual and schedule needs.
Use established project objectives and performance standards as defined by the Company's operating policies and procedures and the project turnover process.
Q/A Inspection and document control.
ssure field quality and oversite of field representatives and staff to ensure construction understands and follows the QA/QC requirements.
Oversee project procurement, communication with Vendors and Project management team.
Oversee the installation of various electrical system installation including but not limited to substation, transmission lines, underground installation as well as Switchgear Installation / Termination of MV Cable, In line Splice Termination, MV Cable installation, Boring/pier/spread-footer foundation Installations, Oversee Substation installations, along with rigging and logistical needs.
Oversee Subcontractors (Boring, Civil, PD/VLF testing, Relay Testing, Point to Point Testing, CT's testing)
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

four-year engineering, STEM degree, or construction management degree or equivalent is preferred. 2-4 years of related experience may be substituted
General ability to not only comprehend but also to provide input on single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, protection & control, fuse coordination, and outage planning, general arrangements, elevation drawings, bus designs/calculations, and below grade/raceway design.
demonstrated general knowledge of studies including but not limited to lightning, lighting, grounding, insulation coordination, short circuit, load flow, arc flash, protection coordination, and relay settings.
demonstrated general knowledge of complex multi-discipline packages and coordinating multi-discipline packages - civil, foundations, structural steel, pre- engineered buildings, HVAC, mechanical and piping, insulation, electrical, instrumentation, telecommunications, life safety systems and other specialty systems.
Experience in the energy projects including utility and power design ranging from low voltage to extra high voltage (LV,MV,HV,EHV), AC design, DC design, transmission/distribution/collection, renewable energy, solar, battery storage, wind and natural gas projects is a strong plus.
