Responsibilities
Provide architecture support at the platform level to include
Perform Code reviews and/or audit team peer reviews for all work being done on the platform. Identify and recommend best practices if not followed and provide notes in the user story being reviewed
Ensure developers across the platform are following best practices and delivering reusable code
Provide design/implementation support to supplemental resources and customer funded team to maintain the architectural integrity of the ServiceNow platform
Move code between environments as needed
Ensure ServiceNow and VA development best practices are utilized during the development lifecycle
Ensure all VA policies and process for development are utilized during the development lifecycle including but not limited to: Section 508, security, and privacy best practices
Verify the VA selected best practice management tool provided for code development
Create scoped applications on an as needed basis in accordance with ESM policies and procedures
Work with multiple vendors to support applications under the PSPM Platform Enablement Product Line
Work with the ServiceNow Platform Team to understand platform changes
Participate in Leadership Briefings and Stakeholder meetings as needed
Qualifications
Must have Technical Architecture and administration skills on the ServiceNow platform
Strong understanding and experience of Service Catalog and scoped applications in ServiceNow
Strong understanding and experience
Strong analytical skills
Experience working in an Agile project methodology
Experience in technical solution architecture
Good object-oriented programming skills
Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python or C#
Experience in continuous deployment and continuous integration
Preferred
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
Education:
Master’s degree in Bachelors in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required and 10+ years’ work experience
Ten (10) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (20 years total)
Clearance:
The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation
Location:
Remote, USA
Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST)
Pay Range:
The pay for this position ranges from $42,730 to $98,500
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses
