Requisition Number: 104966 \n\nJob Description: Sr. Service Technician\n\n * Self-directed\n\n\n\n\n * Location in Westfield, MA at Gulfstream Aerospace \n\n\n\n\n * White glove Deskside experience\n\n\n\n\n * Top notch Customer focused\n\n\n\n\n * Ticket management\n\n\n\n\n * Highly organized and detailed-oriented with the ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects\n\n\n\n\n * Must be able to work independently and take initiative to identify, track, and resolve issues\n\n\n\n\n * Effectively manages up as needed\n\n\n\n\n * Good interpersonal skills, including collaboration and communication\n\n\n\n\n * Self-aware of gaps in skills, works to improve\n\n\n\n\n * Engaged in cross-training efforts amongst peers; where applicable\n\n\n\n\n * Contribute to site level operational readiness, process improvement\n\n\n\n\n * Performs PC break/fix onsite and remotely. This includes, but is not limited to, identifying the problem and determining the most efficient and cost effective way to resolve the problem, keeping customer downtime to a minimum.\n\n\n\n\n * Executes End user projects as required\n\n\n\n\n * May need to assist with other network/infrastructure activity needs as requested.\n\n\n\n\n * Maintains knowledge of new technologies resulting in continued client satisfaction.\n\n\n\n\n * Provides first technical support and leadership support. This includes, but is not limited to, responding to questions, assisting with troubleshooting, and determining problems. \n\n\n\n\n * Maintains and protects assets and property. This includes spare parts, loaners, tools and test equipment, as well as equipment that may be provided by Insight\u2019s customers.\n\n\n\n\n * Escalates service problems and issues to the service manager appropriate.\n\n\n\n\n * Experience with Microsoft Teams\n\n\n\n\n * Experience with SSCM, Asset Management, machine imagining, possible Mac/Apple device support, ServiceNow, and Citrix preferred\n\n\n\n\n * Ideal candidate must be able to develop relationships with all levels of customers within the business (individual contributor to c-suite)\n\n\n\n\n * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, lift, and crawl and sit for 8 hours\n\n\n\n\nPhysical Address: 7 Char Drive, Westfield, MA 01085\n\nUsers Supported: ~300; only technician onsite. There is a client supervisor located onsite, not an Insight supervisor\n\nCommon Applications supported at this site, specifically:\n\n * Windows 10\n\n\n\n\n * Citrix VDI\n\n\n\n\n * Office 365\n\n\n\n\n * SharePoint\n\n\n\n\n * Microsoft InTune\n\n\n\n\n * iPhone, iPads\n\n\n\n\n * Windows laptops, desktops, Microsoft SurfacePro\n\n\n\n\n * Snap-on intelligent toolbox\n\n\n\n\nSite specific requests:\n\n * Very high customer service skills\n\n\n\n\n * Readiness to learn.\n\n\n\n\n * Ability to work independently, flexible \n\n\n\n\n * Self-starter and motivated. Need to be able to work independently and a solid group contributor. \n\n\n\n\n * Should be able to work in front of a user or remotely from their desk\n\n\n\n\n * This is an onsite position\n\n\n\n\n * M-F 8:00 am \u2013 5:00 pm (ish)\n\n\n\n\nThe position described above provides a summary of some the job duties required and what it would be like to work at Insight.
