As a Settlement Staff Accountant, you will have your finger on the financial pulse of the entire organization. Collaborating with a diverse team, you will be responsible for conducting account reconciliation and various analyses of financial statements, in addition to driving change through automation.

Responsibilities: 

• Reconcile the daily Merchant Settlement files from both current processors, TSYS and Worldpay.


• Analyze, research, and reconcile all variances stemming from the daily settlement files and functions.


• Prepare cash and internal journal entries for all Settlement processes.


• Perform monthly reconciliation of all Settlement General Ledger accounts.


• Ensure PCI compliance with all bank policies and procedures.


• Utilize internal and external settlement systems and data to prepare and complete balancing schedules, cash accounts, and GL account reconciliations.


• Assist with implementing process improvements across the organization.


• Assist with the implementation of automated processes.


• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders across cross-functional departments to resolve any processing inquiries, money movement errors, and/or out-of-balance issues.


• Assist in Ad hoc requests and projects processes, as needed.


• Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

•  Must have Merchant Payment processing and account reconciliation experience.


• Able to demonstrate strong initiative to the resolution of issues within a specific time.


• An organized and purposeful person with the ability to communicate effectively and cohesively.


• Settlement Accounting in financial operations and card processing payment industry.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience with TSYS, Econnections, and/or Worldpay.


• Some Netsuite experience needed.

Compensation:

• Our base pay range is $75,000 -$85,000 for this role


• Please note the salary range listed is just one component of a competitive compensation package which includes a company stock plan


• Offers will be reflective of the candidate’s location and experience
