Set-Up Technician - Injection Molding 2nd Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Set-Up Technician - Injection Molding to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have some experience in injection molding processes, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set-up injection molds and the auxiliary equipment required
• Process all types of resins including many engineering grade resins
• Troubleshoot molding processes, cycles, and equipment
• Set up and process for production thermoplastic, thermo-set, & compression molds
• Hang & set up molds
• Handling and signing out material
• Fill hoppers / dryers
• Separate runners
• Accurately complete all required paperwork
• Work closely with the team (operators, quality department, and management)
• Keep molding machines / equipment / area clean and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain safe work area in neat and orderly manner

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in injection molding.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of mold setup, processing parameters, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Must be able to regularly stand for long periods of time throughout the shift with regular walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting of up to 55Lbs

2nd Shift Core Hours: 4:00pm – 12:45am

Wage Range Based on Experience $19 - $24 per hour
