Sewer - Experienced Sewing

Looking for an experienced sewer, able to produce quality work, in production environment. Responsible for sewing and cutting fabric. Must have good hand-eye coordination and be knowledgeable with various fabrics and sewing techniques. Occasionally will help with other departments as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor for defects in stitching or machine malfunctions
• Sew cushions and upholstery for furniture
• Cutting material 
• Sew custom jobs such as custom cushions and drapery

Qualifications

Experience with the following:

• Sewing experience with commercial machines
• Able to read a tape measure 
• Ability to replicate patterns 
• Ability to work under time constraints 
• Ability to safely use different types of sewing machines
• Must be dependable
