Job Details

General Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Maintenance Technician to join our production team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our sewing equipment by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial sewing machines and a keen eye for mechanical issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on industrial sewing machines (Juki, Consew, Brother, Sunstar etc.).


• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize Sewn Good’s Team downtime.


• Replace needles, belts, gears, motors, and other machine components as needed.


• Maintain a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure machine efficiency.


• Work closely with production staff to resolve machine-related concerns.


• Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and tools.


• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.


• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience as a Sewing Machine Technician or similar mechanical role is highly preferred.


• Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines and their components.


• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.


• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.


• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
