Sewing Machine Operator

STAR is currently seeking a Sewing Machine Operator. Continuous growth has created an opportunity in our Minneapolis office, and we are looking for the right person to join our team! Responsibilities:

• Properly read and interpret work orders for production.
  


• Operate industrial sewing machines.


• Comply with all safety standards for sewing machine operation.


• Monitors machine operation and report problems.


• Understand requirements of the Sewing Department and produce quality work on a consistent basis.


• Understand and follow S.O.P.’s regarding work order routing.


• All other responsibilities assigned

Experience:

• Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred


• Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment


• Ability to read a tape measure


• Basic understanding of sewing machine mechanics and troubleshooting


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately


• Skilled in multi-tasking and working in fast paced environments
