Sewing Machine Operator-1st shift

Don't let the thought..."I've never sewn anything in my life" discourage you from applying for this position.

No experience...No problem! We would be happy to train you in this fulfilling and rewarding craft.

Seats Incorporated is currently seeking individuals to work as sewing machine operators on our first shift. Sewers skillfully produce the sewn seat covers, or finished articles used in the covering of our seating products.

We have two 1st shift options for our sewing department now. You can start at 4:00 am or 5:00 am

1st shift: 5:00 am-3:30 pm Monday-Thursday with overtime potential on Friday and Saturday (*New shift*)

1st Shift: 4:00 am-2:30 pm Monday-Thursday with overtime potential on Friday and Saturday.

*Friday overtime may be mandatory* 

*Saturday overtime is always voluntary*

Essential Duties  for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Operate industrial sewing machine


• Install bobbins, needles, and guide plates to accommodate different types of fabric.


• Quality check for imperfections in material or threads.


• Read patterns


• Read and follow work instructions


• Must be willing to rotate to different workstations as production needs require.


• Proven attendance record with previous employers.


• Computer literate

**Seats Incorporated offers an hourly wage starting at $19.65per hour with an opportunity for progressive increases starting after 2 months and every 6 months afterward based on performance to a maximum of $23.25 per hour.
