Geospatial and Cloud Analytics (GCA) is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to join our team! As a SharePoint Administrator, you will provide essential support for Microsoft SharePoint 2019 to a significant customer within the Department of Defense (DoD) community. Your responsibilities will include addressing critical issues, advanced troubleshooting, and resolving site problems, including the management of site permissions, creation, and configuration of sites and sub-sites. You will play a crucial role in planning and executing service pack installations, hotfixes, updates, and patches during off-peak times, ensuring effective communication of any downtime to the business. Data retrieval and backup procedures will be within your purview to prevent data loss, and you will actively manage storage space by conducting clean-ups and archiving data. Additionally, you will review usage and activity reports, optimizing user experiences as needed. As part of your role, you will contribute to security operations, coordinating functions to support the cybersecurity accreditation-risk management framework (RMF) continuous monitoring process. Moreover, you will assist in the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint 2019 architectures and execute SharePoint 2019/2016 farm upgrades from SharePoint 2013. Required Skills:
DoD 8570 - IAT Level II (Security+, CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO)
BS or additional years of experience
5+ years’ experience with SharePoint Administration
Experience with SnapManager, AvePoint DocAve products
Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365
Microsoft SharePoint Administration certificate in multiple versions
TS/SCI clearance to start
