As a Sheet Metal Fabricator at M3 Components you will embark on a structured training program designed to develop your skills and expertise in sheet metal fabrication. You will work closely with experienced fabricators and mentors to learn the fundamentals of the trade, including cutting, forming, welding, and assembly techniques. This is an entry-level position that offers a pathway to a rewarding career in sheet metal fabrication. Must be willing to joining Carpenters Union within 4 months of employment.

• Attend and actively participate in the company's training program.
• Learn and follow safety protocols and guidelines in all sheet metal fabrication tasks.
• Assist in the setup and operation of various sheet metal fabrication machines and tools.
• Develop proficiency in sheet metal cutting, bending, and shaping techniques.
• Assist in measuring, cutting, and shaping sheet metal materials according to specifications.
• Learn to read and interpret drawings.
• Collaborate with experienced fabricators to complete projects accurately and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools as instructed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Seek guidance and feedback from mentors and supervisors to improve skills.
• Stainless Steel Tig Welding is a plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to pursue a career in sheet metal fabrication.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with tools and machinery.
• Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
• Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.

Training and Development
