JR & Co. is seeking a Sheet Metal Foreman (FT) to join our energetic, optimistic, and family-oriented construction company. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of architectural sheet metal experience, knowledge of metal roofing, coping and Formawall Centria DS58 & DS60 metal wall panels, Parapet Coping, Cut Miters, sheet metal flashing and trim and window flashings.

Essential Functions
Effectively communicate with team members regarding scheduling, scope of work and assigned activities, etc.
Accurately record crew member’s hours and resolve any timesheet concerns
Provide coaching and mentoring to develop crew members skills
Meet and maintain project hours and schedule to ensure project success
Record daily logs to ensure quality, production, and proper job-site documentation
Ensure job site and crew adheres to OSHA safety standards and compliance at all times
Communicate and coordinate with customers and other trades as needed
Conduct/participate in weekly project meetings for scheduling, discussions, and issue resolution
Coordinate with Warehouse Staff to manage/track trailer inventory and restock as needed
Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and job site to ensure a professional appearance
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities:
3-5 years experience in architectural sheet metal
Experience working with metal roofing, coping, and the above, listed materials
Experienced in field measuring, layout, and installation of sheet metal flashing and trim. Installation of Extruded Aluminum Systems, Fiber Cement, Aluminum Composite Wall Systems (ACM), Insulated Wall Panels, Standing Seam Roof Panels, Commercial Gutter and Downspouts, Conductor Heads, Sheet Metal Coping Cap
OSHA 10 hour training (minimum) / OSHA 30 preferred ( or requirement to obtain within 90 days)
Familiar with SMACNA standards and details
Ability to understand shop drawings and site plans
Proficient math skills for calculating building areas, lengths, heights, and accurately using a tape measure
Must be able to obtain security clearance on military job sites
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program
Willing to travel
Ability to perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights)
Frequently lift and carry 50lbs or greater
Frequent bending, kneeling, walking
Outdoor environment in all types of weather (8+ hours per day)
