What you need to be successful:
· Minimum 3 or more years of diversified aviation sheet metal experience
· Ability to read and interpret aircraft blueprints, drawings and structural repair manuals
· Knowledge of FAA AC-43.13-1B and aircraft structural repair practices
· Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge, if required

What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you can expect to use your sheet metal expertise to fabricate, repair, and install aircraft structures that help keep our customers flying safely. You'll work from blueprints and technical specifications while applying advanced craftsmanship on industry-leading general aviation aircraft. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to)\:
Aircraft Fabrication & Repair: Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal components and aircraft structures using approved procedures, drawings, and technical specifications
Blueprint Interpretation\: Determine project requirements, assembly sequences, materials, and repair methods by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
Metal Forming & Modification: Lay out, alter, bend, form, and shape sheet metal parts to precise specifications while supporting structural repairs and modifications
Precision Drilling & Preparation: Drill, debur, countersink, and dimple components to ensure proper fit, alignment, and structural integrity
Rivet & Fastener Installation: Remove and install solid rivets, blind rivets, and other aircraft fasteners using specialized tools and equipment
Aircraft Quality & Safety Standards\: Perform work in accordance with aviation maintenance standards, structural repair requirements, and safety regulations to ensure airworthy aircraft
