Sheeter Operator (S1) 1st Shift - 6am-2pm Monday-Friday

Hourly base is $42,120 a year

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A sheeting Factory Ticket (FT) is submitted to the sheeting department.
1. The FT contains all the necessary information for the sheeting operation.
2. The operator must be able to understand all the information that is on the FT.
3. When the instructions have been read and evaluated, the operator then instructs the assigned sheeter material
handler which roll stock should be pulled from inventory.
4. Once the roll stock is in place, the operator is responsible for the correct webbing of the sheeting machine.
5. Throughout the sheeting operation, each load is checked for the following: sheet size, caliper, square, substrate,
or any imperfections that occur during the course of the run.
6. The operator is responsible to assure all loads that are completed are marked with all the proper identification
before being placed in the warehouse.
7. A forklift and clamp truck training program must be completed so that the operation of the vehicles can be done
safety in everyday production of the sheeter.
8. Individual needs to know how to use Imaginera, Microsoft Excel, Smart Plan, and PDE.
9. Read all information on FTs and type up a job method sheet for the sheeter using all the information on the order.
10. Use the raw material allocation sheet to determine what material is to be used and print a copy of the roll stock
from Imaginera.
11. Communications with the Sheeter operator is essential in the performance and the operation of the sheeter.
12. Should know basic operation of the sheeter so when the operator is not present (ie. Breaks, meetings, short
term running, etc.,)to keep the machine running.
13. Know how to set up rolls for running and how to operate the back stand controls.
14. On a weekly basis, assist in the maintenance of the sheeting machine.
15. Responsible for keeping the work area clean.
16. Go into PDE and allocate all the board used for the job and print out butt roll sheet if applicable.
17. Communicate with all supervisors and Operations Manager any changes that occur.
18. Works with the Sheeter Material Handler.
19. Other duties as assigned.
