Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join our team! As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for the restaurant’s operational performance during your shift. You will know how to set up, maintain, and close down the kitchen and lobby, supervise staff, and assign duties to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with restaurant experience.

Responsibilities:

Train and manage employees and assign duties as needed

Lead team in providing exceptional customer service

Resolve customer complaints gracefully and with tact

Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations

Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management

Maintain appropriate inventory levels, reorder and restock when necessary

Cover the shifts of absent employees
- Collaborate with store manager in overseeing daily operations and workflow.
- Maintain positive moral with work crew.
- Assist store manager with maintaining proper food/labor percentages.
- Maintain cash register sales balances.
- Ensure product excellence in all transactions.
- Ensure customer relations in all transactions.
- Has the ability to direct the crew during high and slow times of the day.
- Can maintain steady confidence during high stress situations.

Two years of industry experience is necessary. All required certifications will be supplied by the company.

Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED

Previous food service experience

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS software

Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure

Excellent management and leadership skills

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
