Our Firehouse Subs is now hiring for a Shift Manager to join our restaurant team at both of our Abilene locations. As a Shift Manager, you are the operations leaders of the restaurant with a focus on sales, profitability, Heartfelt Guest Service, coaching and developing people, and performance. Operating under the direction of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, our Shift Manager will provide support in managing the daily operations of a single restaurant to drive key performance outcomes and typically assist in leading a team of Shift Leaders and Team Members.

Job Requirements:

• Able to work in a fast-paced fast-food environment.
• Excellent menu and product knowledge.
• Accountable for the preparation of the guest’s order, including cashier responsibilities
• Able to communicate effectively with guests and handle questions and concerns in a professional manner.
• Team player.
• Thank guests sincerely for their business, strong customer service.
• Participates in all Firehouse Subs® Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
• Maintains anorganized, stocked, and sanitary workspace.
• Lead and coordinate night shift teams, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Train employees on food handling, sanitation, equipment use, and safety protocols.
• Provide coaching and feedback
• Maintains a safe work environment, adhering to all established food service and safety guidelines.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay (Total average: $14.50–$18/hour)

• Base: $12.50/hour PLUS
• Tips: Average $2-3/hour

Work schedule

• Weekend availability
