Shift Supervisor

Description

POSITION OBJECTIVES

• Provide leadership and influence to improve organizational performance.
• Engage personnel to promote safety, operational improvement, and drive performance.
• Maximize profits by achieving forecasts and ensuring customer satisfaction on days and shifts managed.
• Serve as a coach and mentor for 11 to 15 customer service attendants and representatives.
• Ensure the facility is following the company’s policies, procedures, and corporate compliance program, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provides regular reports to the Site Manager and District Manager as required.
• Maintains Soapy Joe’s positive reputation within the internal organization and external stakeholders.
• Responsible for all aspects of facility management. Reporting issues regarding the facility to the proper party, and making sure all necessary repairs, adjustments, and/or general issues are addressed and resolved.
• Help maintain budgeted standards for chemicals, utilities, and equipment repair and replacement.
• Help increase car counts.
• Reduce downtime on days and shifts managed.
• Fulfill all responsibilities as a supervisory employee. Notifying HR and Site Manager immediately when there are employee concerns, including but not limited to leave of absence, worker compensation, wage and hour, working off the clock, disability accommodations, workplace harassment, or other employee relations matters.
• Assist in decreasing errors in vehicle cleaning and damage to vehicles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Increasing Memberships: The team member must understand and exhibit the value of memberships to the customer through product knowledge and through an ability to communicate the VALUE of membership.
• Increasing Member and Customer Satisfaction: The team member must be "show-ready" at all times through perfect uniform standards as well as have a proven ability to provide the WOW in service and experience to our members through an engaging and welcoming demeanor.
• Increase processing speed at the XPTs: The Soapy Joe's team member must increase process efficiency through DRB knowledge and expedited service.
• The SS will work with the other team members to help support processing cars through the queue.
  Develop Skills: The team member will be required to complete the certification called “Basic Training with an Understanding of Advanced Training" upon hire.
• The team member will be asked to participate in creating and implementing best practices for service and sales that may be used throughout the company.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: DEGREE

High School Diploma or equivalent

REQUIREMENTS: PHYSICAL

• Required to be physically capable of executing all essential functions to perform the job with or without accommodation: >80% of the time the employee in this role will be in physically demanding conditions (sun, rain, wind, heat, confined spaces, high volumes of traffic and high-volume noise and sound).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, nights and weekends.
• A positive attitude and ability to be a friendly, team-player
• Attend and perform well at any training programs assigned.
• Able to move about to access a variety of tools and office equipment
• Able to consistently operate a computer or other electronic device
• Able to ascend or descend a ladder, crouch or crawl
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., lift overhead, twist and turn body when appropriate
• Must be able to communicate clearly through both verbal and written form

Pay Range: $19.50 per hour
