Shift Supervisor – Autonomous Vehicle Operations

Location: Los Angeles, CA (On-site)
Pay: $37/hour | Full-Time (30+ hrs/week) | Contract

We are hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead a team of Autonomous Vehicle Operators (AVOs) in a fast-paced fleet operations environment. This is a hands-on, player-coach role where you’ll oversee vehicle testing operations, safety compliance, and team performance.

What You’ll Do

Supervise and coach vehicle operators (VOs) during AV testing
Ensure safety protocols, SOP compliance, and operational excellence
Support software + hardware testing workflows in autonomous vehicles
Manage shift schedules, reporting, and team coordination
Provide performance feedback and real-time coaching
Act as liaison between operations, contractors, and leadership

Requirements

2+ years Autonomous Vehicle Operator (AVO/AVT) experience
Active AVT permit
Prior leadership / supervisory experience
Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
Clean driving record

Preferred

Experience in autonomous vehicle industry / fleet operations
Background as Team Lead, Instructor, or Supervisor
Familiarity with Zoox or similar AV systems

Multiple shifts available (day & evening)
