Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for an experienced Supervisor Team Lead for a client in Fremont. The Supervisor Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the day-to-day operations and managing plant employees working on multiple production lines.
This position will supervise, mentor, and develop a team of production associates to ensure that production deadlines are met efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will enjoy mentoring others and have a proactive, problem-solving mentality. Demonstrated leadership abilities is a must!
Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! This position will pay up to $20 per hour. Position is temporary but position could turn into a salaried position for the right candidate.
Available shifts include 1st 6a-2p 2nd 2p-10p 3rd 10p-6a.
Responsibilities of the Supervisor Team Lead:
• Ensure adequate staffing by scheduling, training, and mentoring the team to ensure they are meeting performance metrics.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health and safety initiatives and requirements
• Ensure efficient coordination and processing of work orders/tasks to meet deadlines and schedules.
• Provide continuous training to employees to increase productivity and morale.
• Responsible for the coordination of shift start activities prior to start time (table requirements, paperwork, etc.).
• Ensure end of shift activities are completed such as auditing of paperwork and time sheets along with any necessary communication to the next shift Supervisor Team Lead.
• Ensure appropriate tools and materials are available for completion of jobs.
• Report any accidents, performance and/or policy violations to Manager.
Preferred Qualifications of the Supervisor Team Lead:
• High School diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree or higher preferred.
• Ability to work on all shifts, to work overtime, or weekends if needed.
• Prior experience in an automotive related manufacturing facility preferred.
• 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills a must.
• Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills.
