Shift Supervisor - Starbucks

 Position Summary

The Pauma Heritage Quick Stop Starbucks is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Shift Supervisor to join our team.

Under the supervision of the Starbucks Store Manager/Assistant Manager, the Shift Supervisor provides leadership during assigned shifts, supports daily store operations, and ensures exceptional customer service. This position helps maintain Starbucks operational standards, coaches team members, and promotes a welcoming and positive environment for customers and employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead      assigned shifts, delegate tasks, and ensure efficient daily operations.
• Provide      exceptional customer service and promptly resolve customer concerns.
• Coach      and support baristas in beverage preparation, product quality, and service      standards.
• Assist      with training and onboarding new employees.
• Perform      assigned opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain      food safety, cleanliness, health, and sanitation standards.
• Follow      established cash handling, point-of-sale (POS), and loss prevention      procedures.
• Monitor      inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Support      store sales goals, promotional activities, and operational efficiency.
• Communicate      shift performance, operational concerns, and staffing needs to store      management.
• Model      Starbucks Mission and Values, professionalism, teamwork, and workplace      standards.

 Minimum Qualifications

• Experience:      Minimum of three (3) years of Starbucks barista experience required.
• Education:      High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous      leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Cash      handling and POS experience.
• Strong      communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability      to motivate, coach, and guide team members.
• Ability      to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability      to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends,      and holidays.
• Must      successfully complete required background checks and drug screening.
