What?
This position is responsible for hands-on training of food and/or life sciences manufacturing processes and equipment, as well as supporting the evaluation and advancement of manufacturing operators (including in a cGMP-regulated environment). Ensures compliance with  industry standards and regulatory requirements while developing training programs, documentation, and best practices to enhance operational excellence.

Main aspects of the role include:

• Develops, delivers, and assesses training programs for food and/or life sciences  manufacturing, including but not limited to:
  • GMP or cGMP principles, aseptic processing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Technical writing and training on standard operating procedures (SOPs), batch records, and deviation and change management.
• Maintains and updates training records to ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Develops and implements training materials, including SOPs, work instructions, job aids, and multimedia content (training videos, interactive e-learning).
• Ensures timely completion and approval of training records and qualification processes for manufacturing personnel.
• Monitors adherence to cGMP, FDA, .USDA, and/or ICH and other regulatory guidelines in training execution.

• Frequent exposure to extreme temperatures
• Noise level in the work environment can be loud
• Exposure to various food allergens
• Regular requirement to stand, walk, climb, push, pull, reach, carry, and lift and twist
• Must be able to regularly lift 15 pounds and up to 50 pounds

You!
The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s Degree or have completed coursework in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Life Sciences. They will bring a minimum of 2 years of experience in a biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environment. Experience with adult learning principles and demonstrated leadership skills is highly preferred. A strong understanding of cGMP, FDA regulations, and manufacturing processes in both the food and life sciences industries is essential.

This candidate should also be proficient in technical writing, with experience creating and maintaining SOPs, batch records, and training documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and electronic documentation systems is required. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively. Lastly, the ability to work nights and weekends is required.
