Ship Control System, System Integration Team Lead Support

Provide direct support to the Ship Control SIT Lead and Deputy in efforts to complete the design and integration of Ship Control System (SCS) and the Hovering and Missile Compensation Control System (HMCCS). Facilitate timely decisions in the review and adjudication of all design products and written correspondence by the appropriate NAVSEA technical stakeholders, Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), UK, NAVY Field Activities in accordance with Ship Specifications to meet commitment completion dates. Interface with stakeholders to generate letters and packages for official release. Establish and manage SCS/HMCCS commitments. Track and report status of commitments. Attend weekly commitment meetings and other applicable meetings office required to support Ship Control SIT Lead and Deputy. Travel up to 25% Minimum 7 years of experience to include U.S Navy Programs or Operations Minimum 2 years of experience with MS Suite Office applications (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field Active Secret Clearance 5+ years of experience in engineering 5+ years of experience with fly-by-wire systems, SUBSAFE and Safety audits preferred 7+ years of Active-Duty experience in the submarine service preferred or with Team Submarine 2+ years of experience with NAVSEA or NAVAIR program Office Strong customer service orientation. Ability to multi-task. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Willingness to learn processes and or ability to make Process Improvements.
