Shipping Administrative Assistant

Summary - Job Responsibilities – Activities:

Salary: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday

• Enters tracking information into company ERP system
• Performs invoicing
• Checks sales orders for accuracy, corrects any errors
• Checks shipments marked in the company ERP system for accuracy before shipments leave the facility, corrects any errors
• Creates all paperwork to be accompanied for export shipments
• Schedules pickups for shipments
• Creates labels for FedEx and UPS
• Communicates with customers regarding the shipment of their orders
• Partners with forwarders for international shipments
• Packs and labels samples
• Responds to customer/forwarder questions
• Responsible for collecting and completing proper documents for claiming in the drawback program
• Seeks out freight quotes upon request
• Works in conjunction with the shipping department to ensure proper communication between sales and shipping is occurring
