Shipping Administrator
Temp to Hire
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with 1/2 hour lunch
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Duties:
- Finding orders in the office from a shipping schedule that will be shipping each day
- Gathering information and paperwork to get shipments ready to go to customers
- Filling in shipping papers with what truck its going on and how many bundles are shipping and total weight of shipment
- Heat maps for customer if required
- Getting mill test reports (MTRs) matched up with heat numbers from shop and marking them with customer PO numbers and job numbers.
- After orders shipped - get them organized and ready to give to the invoicing dept.
- When mill test reports come in from the mill, enter data into the computer
- Interact with shop supervisors to gather information
- Open to learning other duties as you get familiar with our products and the shipping process
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of manufacturing Data Entry, Order Entry, Sales Support or Administrative experience
- Proficient in MS Office
- Fast and Accurate typing and data entry
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Bilingual is preferred but not required
- HS Diploma or equivalent
