Job Description - Shipping & Production Coordinator
Eaton\u2019s Critical Power Solutions division is currently seeking a Shipping \u0026 Production Coordinator on 1st shift to join our team.\n\nThis role will be located in our Raleigh, NC facility and then will move to Youngsville, NC in May 2026.\n\nThe hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\nCore hours for this role are 8:30am - 2:30pm.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe Shipping \u0026 Production Coordinator will lead and work alongside the materials and shipping/receiving team to ensure each product line has timely support. Also, you will provide support to our manufacturing team.\n\nIn this role you will:\n\n * Coordinate daily outbound shipments to ensure on time customer delivery.\n * Schedule transportation for truckload (TL) and less than truckload (LTL) outbound shipments.\n * Act as liaison between production, materials, transportation, and warehouse teams to support outbound flow.\n * Monitor outbound shipment status and resolve delivery or transportation issues.\n * Verify outbound orders meet customer requirements and shipping deadlines.\n * Ensure outbound shipments comply with state, federal, and global shipping regulations.\n * Process outbound freight transactions using SAP.\n * Create and maintain outbound documentation: Deliveries, Goods Issue (GI) postings, Packing lists, Bills of Lading (BOL), Shipping documentation\n * Maintain accurate outbound inventory and shipment records in SAP.\n * Troubleshoot SAP shipping or inventory discrepancies related to outbound orders.\n * Serve as an SAP resource\n * Coordinate dock schedules and manage outbound driver check in/out.\n * Support outbound-related inventory control activities, including:\n * Material movements\n * Transfer orders\n * Ensure accuracy between physical outbound stock and SAP inventory data.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic (Required) Qualifications:\n\n * Minimum of 1 year of experience in a logistics or warehouse environment including order selection, packing and receiving processes.\n * High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.\n * Basic understanding of Microsoft applications.\n\n\n\n * Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.\n * Relocation assistance is not available for this position only candidates within a 50 mile radius of the facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Good communication and interpersonal skills\n * Experience using SAP, warehouse management system\n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Ability to use good judgment when handling material with a safety focus\n * Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed\n * Ability to lift 50 lbs.\n * Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.\n * Must obtain forklift certification upon hire to transport and locate equipment and materials to required areas.\n\n\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
