Location:

White Bear Lake, Minnesota

Wage:

$24 - $26/hr.

Hours:

7:30 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday

Duties of the shipping and receiving clerk

:

Prepare and manage international and domestic shipments
Fill out bills of lading and understand various forms used by major freight carriers
Manage proper packaging methods and interpret visual aids for packaging requirements
Arrange carrier pick-ups as specified in customer purchase orders
Keep an adequate inventory of shipping materials
Receive responsibilities, including interpreting packing slips, entering correct information into the computer, arranging sample deliveries, and acknowledging receipt of goods
Use UPS/FEDEX and other online systems for shipping orders
Conduct weekly cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
Requirements

of the shipping and receiving clerk:

3-5 years of warehouse/distribution experience
Knowledge of standard freight documentation and terms
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word) and prior ERP/MRP experience
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs
Experience with bin counts and international shipping.
HazMat certification is required
